Community Planting Day

One of our hardest working community groups, The Mudlarks, together with Auckland Council have organised another day of planting to beautify the Waiuku Trails. This time they will be working along the eastern side planting 1,200 shrubs and they need your help. Due to the access of the area being planted, there is a requirement that volunteers be fit and agile, unfortunately children will not be allowed on this occasion.
If you are willing and able though, make sure you come and join this fantastic group from 9:00am on Sunday the 16th August. Come in some comfortable working clothes and some hard-wearing footwear, bring plenty of water and your sharpest spade then meet up at the far end of View Road.
