Waiuku Independent Art Group
THURSDAY INFORMAL ART GROUP
HAS MOVED PREMISES to
Old Anglican Church Hall, Queen Street, Waiuku
Every Thursday between 10am – 2pm an informal group of artistic painters gather to offer fellowship, inspiration, encouragement and challenges for each other. Each person provides their own materials. All painting mediums are used and individuality is respected.
This group is held in the hall behind the historic 19th Century old Anglican Church building in Queen Street, Waiuku, opposite the Gull 10 Petrol Station.
Very handy to central Waiuku, the hall is situated behind the Anglican Church building and has parking facilities. It also has direct access to a grassed courtyard to use in the warmer months.
A small $5 fee for each person each time they go along on Thursdays is simply to cover the costs of using the venue, with the addition of a cup of tea or coffee being included. It is not a profit making venture, it is a community inspired get-together for those who need an outlet for their artistic urges.
Anyone who is keen to pursue their artistic leanings in this friendly environment please do call in at the Anglican Church hall on any Thursday from 10am – 2pm.
