Dress up in your favourite 80s retro threads and come and boogie to the sounds from the best decade of Kiwi & Aussie rock! Old faves from Dave Dobbyn, Split Enz, Jenny Morris, INXS, Dragon, Midnight Oil, Sharon O’Neill and the list goes on!

8th to 12th July Village Quilters Handicraft displays from Sat 8th to Wed 12th July from 10am to 4pm daily. Your chance to see the wonderful examples of quilts & embroidery. Also displays of Miniatures By Dianne Goodare and cross-stitch works by local 2015 IHC Art Awards winner Chris Wills. Free entry. 21st July Blue Light Disco on Fri 21st July from 5.30pm to 7.30pm for Primary & Intermediate kids, co-sponsored by Waiuku Lions Club and Bluelight section of NZ Police. These events provide fun & safe environment for youngsters to dress-up, dance, yell, run about like crazy. Tuck-shop operating with drinks, sweets etc. All West Franklin Schools notified. Theme to be announced next week
