Waiuku Steel ‘n’ Wheels 2014
brought another fantastic event with it’s huge variety of vehicles and attractions on display from one end of the town centre to the other.
The MASH Helicopter rides were extremely popular, the NZ Warbirds display spectacular and Gubb’s Phoenix Dragster & the Nostalgia Dragster provided many a thrill for young and old. Enthralled spectators marvelled over the Bubble Car, Monster trucks, big rigs, military displays, bikes, hot rods and vintage cars. Waiuku hosted close to 20,000 people at this spectacular event!
The huge market had a great range of art, craft, gifts, clothing stalls and delicious food to choose from. Entertainment featured wonderful sounds from Tom Sharplin, Split Second, Claire Kendall and the Waiuku Country Music Band, BJ the Clown, Groovit dance crew, the Strathallan College jazz band and kids carnival.
2015 promises to be great. Don’t miss it.
